Is it difficult to make the shop of an Arkansas concrete construction company festive for the holidays? Nope! Not if you’ve got Jose and his helpers sweeping out the corners and dusting the industrial ceiling. Relocate the trucks and equipment and forget about slabs and rebar temporarily. Bring in some party food. Before you know it, there are laughing kids and happy families sharing a few hours of holiday cheer.
Always determined to make Command Construction an amazing place to work, the annual holiday party on December 9 was special this year. Santa was there, although he appeared in casual clothes without a red hat and white beard, and people were calling him Jason instead of Santa.
Also in attendance was a family photographer, creating portraits for all the Command families to remember Christmas 2016. Proud moms and pretty little girls in red hair bows took advantage of the opportunity to charm the camera. It was the perfect gift for this special holiday season and just one of the family-oriented considerations that make Command Construction special.
Families are important at Command Construction. We know that our team members are motivated to work hard and be productive in order to provide a good life for their families. We want to do all we can to help them do that. Realizing that their families will be appreciated makes recruiting new team members a much easier task.
We’ll continue to do everything we can to engage our families and celebrate the seasons with them. Watch for a post about the 2017 Command Summer Employee Appreciation Event and another about the 2017 Command Christmas party. Maybe next year Jason will wear a Santa suit!
